With regular practice, the body will become stronger and more flexible. Improved focus, calm and relaxation are some of the mental benefits to be gained.

It is beneficial to try a variety of classes. Different classes offer a different range of physical variety and time slots.

Water for hydration and a yoga mat are the basic materials. If needed the studio has mats for use as well as blocks, straps and bolsters. If the class is a fitness/strength based option a sweat towel is good to have on hand.

Feel free to wear what is comfortable. Most men and women wear leggings or shorts and a t-shirt or tank.

Please inform the teacher of any existing conditions so that they can offer modifications. Listen to the body and honor personal limitations.

Every class offered is friendly to all levels. Modifications can be made if a move or pose is not compatible with experience level or condition. Instructors are happy to accommodate! We all have to start somewhere and Vitality Studios is here to help! A gentle Yin or Yoga for your class will provide a great first experience.

Though yoga can be a daily practice, practicing 2-3 times a week will still provide personal growth results. 1 time a week is better than 0 times a week! Find a reasonable schedule that fits and then try to be consistent.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class time to find a space for your mat and set your shoes and belongings in a locker. Phones on silent please. Feel free to address the teacher with any concerns or questions or conditions. Once class starts follow the instructions given and as always-listen to your body and do what feels good to you.

Yes! Yoga is for every body. Come as you are and yoga will help you create a balanced and strength-based routine that over time will provide longer stronger muscles as well as an overall sense of wellbeing and vitality.

There are several ways to book and pay for a class. Most bookings are easiest through the Mindbody app. This app provides a schedule, class descriptions, teacher bios and multiple pricing options. You can also pay in studio using cash or card.
